There are many different methods to up your homes thermal efficiency just through your attics insulation. • removal of previously installed insulation, then air seal each cutout in the ceiling, top plates etc… finally blowing new fiberglass material back to recommended depth for appropriate R-Value. • removal of previously installed insulation, then spraying entire roof system with open cell foam to code depth. • adding blown-in fiberglass insulation directly to the existing insulation to give your attic insulation the correct R-Value.
